Character: Puss in Boots was once just a mangy granary cat. After some bad fortune, he and his poor young master had to leave home to fend for themselves. When donned with a pair of boots, Puss, with his cunning mind and great optimism, brought much fortune to the young boy, teaching him royal etiquette to win a young princess' heart, winning the trust of the king with gifts, and with great bravery, cheating the evil ogre of his castle for a new home, transforming the boy in to "The Great Marquis of Carabas". Since then, Puss in Boots enjoys the greatest of luxuries, feasts, and every so often a granary mouse.
Technical: Puss in Boots was one of the top ten finalists in the Once Upon A Puppet Contest held in 2007 right here at Project Puppet.
