Character: Mr. Toad of Toad Hall, a delightfully obsessive character from Kenneth Grahame's The Wind in the Willows, becomes enamored with automobiles. Here he is at the height of his obsession all decked out in his "goggles, cap, gaiters, and enormous overcoat". When he takes to the road watch out! You'll be left in the dust as you hear him exclaiming:
