Character: Jim Reaper is new to his job, making sure things that need to die, die. Jim comes from a long line of famous Reapers. His father, Grim is most noted for "taking out" various evil queens and monsters throughout the land. All of the stories would never be the same without a Reaper there, behind the scenes making sure the good guys win and the bad guys...die.
Jim has been having some trouble adjusting to his new "powers". He can't seem to turn them on and off like his father can, and so he ends up killing some of his favorite plants. One of the most important things a Reaper needs to do is be scary. So Jim is trying to become scarier but he's just too darn cute to scare anyone. He'll pose in front of a mirror for hours practicing his scary faces but nothing seems to work. So between jobs, Jim is searching out the Magic Mirror in the hopes that the Mirror can help him become scarier. But we like him just the way he is, we just don't shake hands with him.
Technical: Jim Reaper was one of the top ten finalists in the Once Upon A Puppet Contest held in 2007 right here at Project Puppet.
