The Glorified Sock Puppet Pattern
Character: "This is Dodgy. He's a meerkat. He grew up in the meerkat exhibit in the Miami Zoo, but was kicked out for being too hyper. He constantly seems like he has had about 14 cups of coffee too many. But he is friendly, curious, and always offers to help (although he usually makes a mess because he can't hold himself or his attention still)." - Joel
Technical: "I made Dodgy using The Glorified Sock Puppet Pattern as a base. I made some adjustments to the pattern; slightly elongating the front and making it a little more pointed for a "snout-like" appearance. The nose is carved foam covered in a fuzzy fleece. The ears are lined with pink felt. I followed the pattern for the body and the arms (although I am planning on replacing the cotton stuffing with a string of wooden craft balls - the effect will be similar to the arms of "Treelo" from Bear in the Big Blue House.)" - Joel
