The Melonhead Puppet Pattern
Character: "This is Batsy. He's a pretty good natured little guy with a knack for getting into mischief. He dreams of playing electric guitar for a heavy metal band someday. His folks won't let him get an electric guitar so he is stuck practicing on a ukulele. He is certainly not allowed out after hours until his fangs come in. Oh well, someday." - Mike
Technical: "This guy is a straight-forward Melonhead Pattern. The ears are simple triangles made with a contrasting cotton lining and wired on the inside for support. The same cotton is used for the wings. The eyes are large domed doll-eyes with small glass beads for the pupils and small scraps of fur for the lids. And finally, the nose was made out of polymer clay and glued to a small doll-eye so it could be easily attached." - Mike
